On September 18, 2016, the election of deputies to the State Duma of the 7th convocation as well as a whole number of regional and local election, including the election of regional governors in seven constituent regions of Russian Federation, the election of deputies to the regional legislative bodies in 38 constituent regions of the Russian Federation and the election of deputies to the representative bodies of local government in the administrative centers of 11 constituent regions of the Russian Federation took place.
