Poland and Germany to increase collaboration

The list of planned joint ventures includes around 100 projects

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and German Chancellor Angela Merkel signed a declaration to strengthen cooperation between their two countries on Tuesday in Warsaw.

The German Chancellor and her cabinet met with their Polish counterparts to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Treaty on Good Neighborship and Friendly Cooperation signed between Germany and Poland in 1991, reported Rzeczpospolita.

The meeting led to an agreement on a new list of Polish-German joint ventures, which includes about 100 items, according to a statement from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

They concern cross-border cooperation on energy, infrastructure and partnerships within the European Union.
